This week’s spotlight: Build IRL connections

Here at STEWARD, we advocate for the power of connecting with nature, as well as with each other. So you better believe that IRL events and access is a significant part of being a steward!

These membership benefits span three areas:

1. Global climate events

2. STEWARD community events

3. Access & mentorship

Global Climate Events:

Every year, the world’s foremost climate thinkers, policymakers, leaders, and activists convene at a Climate Week NYC and Earthshot Prize, just to name a few.

STEWARD is your ticket to a front-row seat at these exclusive climate events. We’ll be opening up a few limited seats to join our co-founders at these events because who doesn’t need a plus one?

Here are highlights from the 2023 calendar:

• SYNC Climate Tech: August 21 in Singapore

• Climate Week NYC: September 18-24 in New York City

• Earthshot Prize: November 7 in Singapore

STEWARD Community Events:

We’re hosting a number of small-group events exclusively for STEWARD members around the world. These are an amazing opportunity to meet like-minded climate optimists both in your local community and from the other side of the world. 

You’ve probably already seen snippets of our awesome foraging events in NYC, Singapore, and California on our socials, but we’re just getting started.

We’re also planning volunteer site visits to meet and support many of our non-profit partners, to help them on their frontline work protecting their ecosystems from climate change. This could be a trip to the Amazon to work with the Articulation of the Indigenous Peoples of Brazil or working with Oceanic Global on one of their many beachfront initiatives. 

Access & mentorship: 

Finally, as we grow, you’ll have guaranteed access and mentorship with folks from within the community, starting with our co-founders. 

Whether you need career, climate, web3, or personal advice, each of our three co-founders will be hosting small group discussions and one on one sessions with the STEWARD community. We’re placing a special emphasis on access and mentorship to facilitate our goal of learning and growing together. 

And at the end of the day, we’ll also take our lead from you, the members. Our plan is to direct STEWARD community funds into whichever projects and initiatives that we collectively vote on!
