Founders Intro:
NFTs are dead, again.
You may remember us talking about this in Go Outside #7: NFTs are Dead, Impact Era Starts Now. Or from our friends at MORNING: Wait, NFTs Aren’t Shit?
Beyond the data being cherry-picked and skewed to a small percentage. We just want to clarify that media headlines saying NFTs are dead is like saying art is dead, culture is dead, impact is dead. A reminder that NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) is a term that applies to any asset that has been tokenized via a blockchain.
The use cases are endless: from impact and philanthropy to memorabilia, to digital identity verification, supply chain management, DeFi, virtual real estate, intellectual property rights, gaming, and the music and entertainment industry. We are just at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to real-use cases during the convergence of our physical and digital worlds.
For all the Swifties out there: "I'm sorry, the old Taylor NFT can't come to the phone right now.
"Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead!"
So RIP profile picture NFTs, we were never about that craze anyway. But when your digital asset can represent something in the physical world (like protecting nature, hello stewards!). Now we’re talking.
These aren’t just buzzwords or catchy click-bait headlines, these are real world applications for businesses as well which is why Fortune 500 companies are doubling down on NFTs during this bear market.
Check out what our friends at eco sapiens wrote (NFTs are worthless? Not according to these Fortune 500s: A Deep Dive into Corporate Adoption) as they deep dive into global brands like Gucci, Tiffany & Co, Starbucks, and more, who are currently actively demonstrating their value in the corporate world.
When Mother Nature is all in, we’re all in. Thus, we’re stewards for the long haul.
One Home baby!
What’s going on in Climate 3.0?
How can technology save our rainforests? Rainforest Connection’s powerful combination of eco-acoustics, AI, and in-house experts helps detect threats, such as illegal logging and poaching. This bioacoustic monitoring also helps measure biodiversity loss, and can be used for land management, policy changes, and resource allocation.
